Kick 2021 off to a good start with a high quality training camp in Australia’s Snowy Mountains between January 22 - 26.
The Snowy Mountains are an ideal location for a high quality training camp ideal for those athletes preparing for early year races like Geelong 70.3 or Ironman Australia.
MX Endurance is excited to partner with Hurt Locker Tri to bring you four days of swim, bike and run in one of Australia’s premier training locations.
Whether you are a beginner athlete or aiming for a Kona qualification, this four day training camp will have options for athletes of all levels and abilities.
MX Endurance camps offer you the perfect opportunity to train with a group of like minded people and have fun at the same time with group meals and catch ups there is plenty of fun to be had.
All sessions will be led by experienced coaches with varying levels of support for some sessions. With camp options including accommodation and basic meals, camp-only and couples rates this is guaranteed to be one of the highest quality, best training camps you will find.
Arrive in Jindabyne on January 22nd and get ready to experience some of the best training Australia has to offer.
Run to the highest point in Australia, climb the famous Beloka climb and even face Tom Groggin if you dare!
Run along the trails around Lake Crackenback and you might come across groups of Kangaroos. Ride amongst the snow capped peaks at the top of Australia all while enjoying quality, structured training suitable to your goals and abilities.
Enjoy group training in a fun and relaxed environment surrounded by other athletes and geek out on all things swim, bike and run.

While this camp is held in Summer, the altitude means that you can experience a whole range of weather with some rides starting hot, getting cold as you climb then warming up again as you descend. We advise you to bring a selection of training gear suitable for all weather conditions.
This camp requires you to make your own way to and from the camp. Jindabyne is approximately 5 hours drive from Sydney or 7 hours drive from Melbourne. Once signed up, you can also arrange to travel with other people attending the camp.
This camp will provide basic meals which will include breads, cereals, eggs, meats, cheeses, tea and coffee for you to make your own lunch and breakfast. We will also provide an esky service which will meet us on some of our rides if you wish to pack lunch or cold drinks while we are training. We will go out for some meals which are not included in the camp fee.
We have booked a number of apartments for people attending the camp to stay in. These apartments will be shared with camp attendees and we will do what we can to ensure friends are in the same accommodation as each other. If you would prefer to source your own accommodation we have camp only options available as well which still enables you to join all of our camp sessions.
While this camp will provide some levels of support you are still expected to carry everything you need to be self-sufficient. This means enough spare inner-tubes, co2 canisters and nutrition to get yourself through every ride. If you are unsure whether to bring something it is probably best to bring it. If you have are unsure whether to bring a TT or road bike, a road bike would be your best option because of the elevation of a number of rides.
This is an inclusive camp which means we will have options for athletes of all levels. You are still expected to come to the camp with basic levels of skill and fitness. If you do not know how to ride a bike or cannot ride 20km then this camp may not be suitable for you.

Charles is a two-time 70.3 Champion and two-time Kona finisher with an extensive history in triathlon as both a coach and athlete. Charles established HLT in 2019 and has worked with a number of athletes of all levels and abilities to train smart, train with structure and train hard.
Tim Ford has gone from being dead-last in his first ever triathlon to multiple age-group victories and a 70.3 PB of 4:06. Tim runs MX Endurance for Chris ‘Macca’ McCormack and hosts The MX Endurance Podcast. Tim has been coaching since 2015 and has worked with athletes from all over the world from complete beginners to World Championship qualifiers.
